JAMES C. GREENWELL, 82 year old former employee of the Louisville Fire Brick Company, died at 10 p.m. Tuesday at his home, 331 Hiawatha. He retired 10 years ago after being with the company 47 years. He was a native of Larue County, but lived here most of his life. Surviving are his wife, the former Cleota Beeler; a daughter, Mrs. Granville J. Summers; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Frances Greenwell and Mrs. Catherine Hammond; a stepson, Russell Skees; and a granddaughter. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the McDaniel Funeral Home, 4339 Park Boulevard. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.

MRS. CLEOTA SKEES GREENWELL, 77, of 333 Hiawatha Ave., died at 1:35 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Infirmary. She was the former Cleota Beeler. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Catherine Hammond and Mrs. Frances Greenwell; a son, Russell Skees; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 325 Wampum St., with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. The body will be at McDaniel Funeral Home, 4339 Park Blvd., after 3 p.m. Friday.
