MRS. EDWARD J. MATHISON, 60, of 201 Chalet Village, died at 9 a.m. Monday at Jewish Hospital. She was the former Ann V. Wimsett, a native of New Haven. Survivors besides her husband include three daughters, Mrs. Nancy Motley, Mrs. Joanne Berryman and Miss Kathy Mathison, and four grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Helen Catholic Church, 4005 Dixie Highway, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. The body will be at Keenan's Funeral Home, 4724 Dixie Highway, after 6 p.m. Tuesday. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.

Wimsett, Mrs. Borgie Burke, Mrs. Russell (Elizabeth) Mudd, Mrs. Lawrence (Louise) Harlow, Mrs. James (Catherine) Goldsmith, Mrs. Eleanor Thompson and Mrs. James (Pauline) O'Bryan. Also survived by her granddaughters, Stacey Berryman, Luanne, Leanne and Laura Motley. Funeral Thurs. 10 a.m. St. Helen Church with interment in Calvary Cemetery. Remains at Keenan's Funeral Home, 4724 Dixie Hgwy. Vigil services Wed. at 7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Tuesday.
