William Elmer Cecil, 51. of Samuels. C Ky., died at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Flaget ' Hospital, Bardstown. He was an employee of the Jewell & Hayden Hardware Store, Bardstown. He was a veteran of World War II, and was a member of the American Legion Tost 121, Bardstown. Survivors include his wife, the former Alice Mackin; three sons, William E. (Bud) Cecil Jr. and John M. Cecil, both of Samuels, and James A. Cecil; a daughter, Miss Marie A. Cecil, of Samuels; ; his mother, Mrs. Will Cecil, Bardstown, and six grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Gregory Catholic Church, Samuels, with burial in the church cemetery. The body is at Mann-Grecnuell & Arnold Funeral Home, Bardstown.
