BOONE, JOSEPHINE CECIL, 97, of Louisville, passed away Friday, March 9, 2007 at Christopher East Nursing Home. She was a graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing and was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton J. Boone. She is survived by two sons, Dr. James C. Boone (Rosemary), and Kenneth J. Boone (Cheryl); a daughter, Gail Kelly (Dr. John); 11 grandchildren, Dr. Rebecca Tafel (Bill), Jim Kelly (Gloria), Rosemary Hocker (Talmage), David Kelly, Jennifer Mitchell (Mark), Andrea Duncan, Mike Kelly, Jimmy Boone (Laura Lee), Bill Kelly (Christy), Rachel Buchheit (Jim) and Dr. Ken Kelly (Terri); and 23 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday at Ratterman's, 3711 Lexington Road. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Mass of the Air.
