THE REV. GEORGE R. GREENWELL, 82, died Tuesday at Nazareth Home. He was a retired Roman Catholic priest who had served at St. Theresa Church in Rhodelia, Sisters of Loretto Motherhouse in Nerinx, St. Philip Neri, St. Jerome, St. Raphael and St. Lawrence churches and the former SS. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. Survivors: a sister, Mary Ada Rice, and brothers, Edward and Fabe Greenwell. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday, St. Raphael, 2900 Bardstown Road. Burial: Calvary. Visitation: Keenan's, 4724 Dixie Highway, 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, and the church after 9 a.m. Saturday. Memorial gifts: Mass of the Air.
