Obituary: The family of Dorothy (Dottie) M. Peterson, 67, Wilmhurst Road, DeLand, who died Thursday, December 8, 2005, at Florida Hospital, DeLand, invites their friends to celebrate Dottie's life at 4 p.m. Sunday, December 11, at 5242 Aragon Ave., DeLeon Springs. She was born in Maysville, KY and moved to this area in 1957 from Cincinnati, Ohio. Dottie worked with the Volusia County School Board for 16 years before retiring.
Survivors include her daughter, Patti Richards of DeLeon Springs, son, Pete Peterson of DeLand and seven grandchildren.
