MRS. ELEANOR F. WIMSETT THOMPSON, 69, of 4621 Dearing Ave., died Friday at Audubon Hospital. She was a native of Nelson County. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. LaVerne Black; a brother, Matt Wimsett; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Mudd, Mrs. Mary C. Goldsmith and Mrs. Pauline O'Bryan; and three grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 6000 Preston Highway, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation at Arch L. Heady Okolona Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Highway, will be from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.

JAMES H. THOMPSON, 62, of 4621 Dearing Ave., died at 12:01 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Infirmary. He was a Marion County, Ky., native, and was a furniture refinisher for the Strassel Co. Survivors include his wife, the former Eleanor Wimsett; a daughter, Mrs. Jack Black, and three grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 6010 Preston Highway, where he was a member, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. The body will be at Arch L. Heady Okolona Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Highway, after 1 p.m. Sunday.
