According to the book written by M. L. Donnelly, St. Clements Bay, STM Cty, MD 1634-1780, pg 193, Peter Peake was born around 1636 in Virginia.  He is listed as the son of Walter Peake and Frances ____.  He was evidently captured by the Indians while a young boy in Virginia.  He was a minor when his parents emigrated to Maryland.  In 1655, he received a legacy from the estate of Richard Lawrence.  In 1675, he was witness to the will of Edward Clarke.  Records have not been found as to whom he was married or when he died but it is thought he died in or around 1698.  Ms. Donnelly states that Peter Peake was no doubt the father of the Peakes found in St. Mary's County, MD:  Peter Peake, Walter Peake and William Peake.
