MILBURN BOONE, 55, DIES AT NEW HAVEN - Milburn Boone, 55, Nelson County farmer, died Friday morning at 12:20 o'clock at his home near New Haven, after an illness of several months of complications. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Bryan Boone; five children, Andrew Boone and Mrs. Ronald Bowling, New Haven; Nick Boone, New Hope; Jesse Boone, Louisville; and Sister Rose Ann, of the Ursuline Order, missioned at Blanco, New Mexico; one sister, Mrs. H. B. Hall, Louisville; two brothers, William and Victor Boone, New Hope; and twelve grandchildren. Funeral services were held at St. Catherine's Church, New Haven, Monday morning at 8:30 o'clock with high Requiem Mass, Rev. James H. Willett, the pastor officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Among those from a distance who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Steve Harlow and family, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Smith and family, Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Hall and daughter Miss Isabelle Hall, Mrs. John Griffin, Miss Louise Bryan, Mrs. Fred Spain, Mr. and Mrs. Palmer Bowling, Miss Jennie Bryan, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Spain, all of Louisville; Miss Martina Spain, New Hope.

MRS. MARY BOONE, NURSE MANY YEARS, SUCCUMBS AT 76 - Mrs. Mary Bryan Boone, 76, died Wednesday morning, December 4, at her residence near New Haven. She had been ill for about a month. Mrs. Boone, the widow of Milburn Boone, for many years was a practical nurse engaged in many homes in Nelson County. Surviving are three sons, Andrew and Nick Boone, New Haven, and J. S. Boone, Louisville; two daughters, Sister Rose Ann, O.S.U., Fredericktown, and Mrs. Agnes Bowling, Louisville; one sister, Mrs. Leslie Peake, St. Augustine, IL.; one brother, Frank Bryan, Louisville; 24 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The body is at Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven. Prayers will be at 7 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, December 6, at Immaculate Conception Church, Culvertown.
