JAMES "MATT" WIMSETT, 71, of Pleasure Ridge Park, died Tuesday at his home. He was a native of New Haven, a retired truck driver for Dealers Transport Co. and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran. Survivors: his wife, the former Louise Bowlds; two daughters, Pam Casper of Elizabethtown and Susie Dahlenburg of Lexington; a son, Jay Wimsett of Overland Park, Kan.; three sisters, Catherine Goldsmith, Pauline O'Bryan and Elizabeth Mudd; and six grandchildren. Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday, Incarnation Catholic Church, 2229 Lower Hunters Trace. Burial: Calvary Cemetery. Visitation: Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Memorial gifts: Hospice of Louisville.

FRANCES LOUISE WIMSETT, 72, died Tuesday at Columbia Audubon Hospital. She was the former Frances Bowlds and a retired tax preparer for Holland Income Tax. Survivors: daughters, Pamela Casper and Susie Dahlenburg; a son, Jay M. Wimsett III; three brothers, James R., Robert C. and Dr. Charles F. Bowlds; six grandchildren; and friends, Mary M. Glass and Catherine Goldsmith, both of whom cared for her. Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Friday, Catholic Church of the Incarnation, 2229 Lower Hunters Trace. Burial: Calvary. Visitation: Owen, 5317 Dixie Highway, 1-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Memorial gifts: Hospice of Louisville.
