JOSEPH EDWIN "WIMPY" WIMSETT, 47, a veteran of World War II, died at 12:30 a.m. yesterday at his home, 427 Heywood. He was a driver 15 years for Auto Leasing Company. Survivors are seven sisters, Mrs. Borgie Burke, Mrs. Elizabeth Mudd, Mrs. Catherine Goldsmith, Mrs. Eleanor Thompson, Mrs. Ann Mathison, Mrs. Louise Harlow, and Mrs. Pauline O'Bryan, and two brothers, Dick and Matt Wimsett. The funeral will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Manning Funeral Home, 518 N. 26th, and at 9 a.m. at the Church of Our Lady, 3515 Rudd. Burial will be in Zachary Taylor National Cemetery.
