She received her first holy communion at St. Catherine’s Church in 1857 and was confirmed the same day by Bishop Martin J. Spalding. She attended Calvary Academy for five months and Bethlehem Academy for two years. She entered the Convent of the Sisters of Loretta in Nerinx, Kentucky and received her veil March 27, 1874. From 1874 to 1899 she was a seamstress in the Motherhouse, supplying the wardrobe for the sisters.
She died August 31, 1901 and was buried there.
