Mary Amanda Vittitow Holbert, 86, of New Haven died Monday, Dec. 8, 1997, at her residence. She was a native of Nelson County, a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church and Altar Society, New Haven Homemakers Club and the New Haven Senior Citizens. She was the daughter of the late Hansberry and Evelena Greenwell Vittitow.
She was preceded in death by three husbands, Edward Cambron in 1939, David Holbert in 1959, and Albert Lush in 1985 a son, Louis Holbert; and a granddaughter Stacey Jean Holbert.
Survivors include three daughters, Martha Ann Whelan of Frankfort, Nancy Jackson of Paducah and Mary Sue Estep of Lexington; six sons, Jimmy Cambron of Louisville, Franklin (Buddy) Cambron, Billy, Ronald, Donald, and Charles Holbert, all of New Haven; a sister Mae Murrray of Texas; 24 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be today at 11 a.m. at St. Catherine Catholic Church in New Haven.
Fr. Clarence Howard will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetary. Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
