New Haven, KY May 27
Thomas R Spalding, 72 years old, a well known farmer in Howardstown, near here, was found dead in bed today when his daighter went to his room to awaken him. He was prominent in political affairs and for years served as chairman of the democratic Campaign Committee at Howardstown. He is survived by his wodow, Lean Howard Spalding, and the following children: Howard and Jessie Spalding and Mrs. Annie Stiles, Howardstown; Mrs Sudie Newton, Trentol, Ill.; Webb Spalding, Los Angeles, and Fred Spalding of Clinton, Ill.
