John and Sophia are buried together in Pythian Grove Cemetery, Berry, Kentucky (Harrison County) beside their daughter Emma and an unnamed infant son who died at birth on November 8, 1898.
Elzie and Walter are buried together under the same tombstone alongside wives Anna and Mary, also in the Pythian Grove Cemetery. Anna died at age 33, Mary at 26. The unusual large brown tombstone is shaped like pier posts with a scroll attached to them by rope.
Walter relocated from Berry, Kentucky to Indiana where he remarried to Emma Haufler.
Evert and Cecilia’s son Kenneth died around age four; he was hit by a car. They also had a stillborn son.
Evert and Cecilia divorced and Cecilia remarried Arthur Hainkel from Middletown, Ohio. They adopted a baby girl named Nancy in about 1944. Cecilia had a brother named Sonny, who had at least three children: Nina, Bob, and Paul.
