Misc. Notes
Boogie’s eye was kicked out during a fight in liquor store at the corner of Maxie Court and Main Street in New Haven in the late 1950's. He was drunk and on all fours when the man kicked him like a football. The eye popped and he was taken to the hospital. After it healed he was fitted with a glass eye. Boogie could be mean and loud mouthed when he was drunk, which often got him into trouble.

Boggie never graduated from high school. He got kicked out of every school he went to.
One he got caught with moonshine, Second he got caught with condoms, and the third Chester thought he had finally made it and took Boogie back to school in the fall
The headmaster told Chester and Boogie “Mr Howard, I told Boogie not to come back to this school last spring when he left for summer break.” Chester was shocked that Boogie never said a word about getting kick out of school.
