Maggie and Henry operated her father's grocery and hardware store at Malt, Otter Creek, Larue County, Kentucky; this store was the first one at Otter Creek in 1883.
Mrs. Henry Lewis Dies in Kansas City
Mrs. Maggie Lewis, widow of Henry Lewis, died Friday in Kansas City where she had resided for many years. She was a native of Larue County and a daughter of the late Mace Howell, prominent Larue County resident and former sheriff. Surviving are a daughter, Miss Minnie Lewis, who resides with her mother and two sisters, Mrs. Wayne Ennis, of this city, and Mrs. Chester Howard, of Knob Creek. Mrs. Howard and her two sons, Paul and Milburn Howard, New Haven, attended the funeral and burial services in Kansas City.
