CARROLL--Hugh J., M.D., August 14, 1925 - December 18, 2010. Native of Belfast, Ireland. Distinguished teaching professor emeritus of medicine at SUNY Downstate College For Medicine. Served in the 13th and 82nd Airborne Divisions in World War II. Educated at Regis High School, NY ('44), Fordham University (BSc '50), NYU College of Medicine (MD '54), Beloved husband of 60 years to Margaret (nee Cirillo). Loving father of Angela Healy (William), Gina Colasuonno (Thomas), Hugh Carroll (Deborah), Frank Carroll (Lyda), Mimi, Paul Carroll, and Maria Furlong (Matthew).
