Jerry was quite a character and artistically talented at drawing, painting and sculpture. Designed and built his own home in Bronson, FL.

William Gerald “Jerry” Hall, 83, Bronson, Fla., died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, at Williston Rehabilitation Center. He graduated from St. Joseph Prep School. He served in the Army Air Corps 1944-1946. He attended the University of Louisville and worked for the Corps of Engineers in Louisville. He married Betsy Beam Stiles in 1952 and lived in Louisville for five years before moving his family to south Florida in 1957. During his time in south Florida, he worked for an architect and designed many buildings and built a home in the Keys. He then moved his family to Bronson, Fla., and lived there for 33 years drawing plans and building homes. Services were held Sunday, Feb. 10, 2009, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Williston, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Bud Hall; and his grandson.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Betsy Hall, three sons, Gerald Hall, Dick Hall, and John Hall; and three daughters, Marion Almeroth, Miami; Bea Hall, Gainesville, Fla., and Betsy Miller, Jacksonville, Fla., five grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a sister, LaVerne Corbett, Bardstown; and two brothers, Marlin Hall, Louisville, and Norbert Hall, Bardstown.
