What I hadn`t realized is that Joseph Howard and his sister, Betsy Howard Boone`s children were 1st cousins.  So Col. James Boone, William Joshua Boone and all the rest of them are 1st cousins to our Howards.  So that includes the children of Joseph Howard with his 2nd wife, Elizabeth Greenwell as well as Austin and Alex Howard.  So here is your relative, William Joshua Boone.   Bill and I were wondering who he looked like, Elizabeth (Betsy) Howard or John Boone.  Whoever, he was a very handsome man.  He lived on land adjacent to Austin Howard on the Larue side of the river.  I think those Boones with their liquor business had more money than our Howard side.  This is the guy who was hit by a falling whisky barrel and died from it.
