Came to KY about 17905 He bought & settled on a farm about 2 miles NW of Bardstown.
His house was used as a church station until St. Joseph Cathedral was built.
He had 11 children plus 8 slaves.
Daughter Mary was the first Sister of Charity to die, 8/1818.

Nelson Co., KY, Deed Book 14, pg. 186. Thomas Gwynn sold to Ignatius F. Gwynn and his son, 136 1/2 acres.
