Agnes Greenwell, 97, of Louisville, died Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at Jefferson Place Nursing Home. She was born in New Haven, KY, on October 31, 1906. Agnes was a retired bookkeeper with over 40 years of service with the old Aubrey Feed Mill. She was a volunteer for Boys' Haven and a member of the Legion of Mary, 3rd Order of St. Francis and St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Cathy Phillips (Pat), Barbara Houston (Bob), Renee Thompson and Richard (Jo Ann), Edward (Eileen), Harry (Paula) and Estelle Greenwell. She is also survived by her special great-niece and great-nephew, Carla and Gus Probus. Her funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Thursday at Ratterman's, 3711 Lexington Road. The family would like to thank the staff of Jefferson Place for the loving care and kindness given to Agnes. Memorial gifts may be made to Boys' Haven.
