RICHARD A. WIMSETT, 67, who retired in 1962 from the tire-recapping department of Battery Distributing Co., died at 6:10 a.m. Friday in Hillcreek Manor Nursing Home. He lived at 1112 Alder and was a native of New Haven, Ky. Survivors include a son, Jack A. Wimsett; two daughters, Mrs. Elmer Nitzken, Jr. and Mrs. Leroy Jackson, and 14 grandchildren. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Monday in Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 6010 Preston Highway, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. The body will be at Ratterman's, 3800 Bardstown Road, after 3 p.m. Saturday.
