Thaddeus A. Peake, 73, a retired instructor of insurance agents, died at 9:20 p.m. yesterday at Nichols Hospital. He was with the Commonwealth Life Insurance Company 20 years until his retirement 10 years ago. His residence was 4106 W. Broadway. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mary Cunningham Peake; a son, Lt. Com. Thaddeus A. Peake, Jr., stationed in Japan; three daughters, Miss Josephine Peake, Mrs. Mary Virginia Oyler, and Mrs. Adam J. Gottbrath; a brother, Disney Peake; three sisters, Miss Nettie P. Peake, Miss Ethel Peake, and Mrs. Mary Hagan; five grandchildren, and one great-grandson. The funeral will be at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow at the residence and at 9 a.m. at Christ The King Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
